What are your hours? Tuesday through Saturday from 12 PM to 9 PM by appointment only. Please note that our door remains locked and we require appointments for entering the shop.

Does Art & Soul Tattoo offer piercing? No piercing at this time. Check out Rockstar in Providence, RI.

What are the shop policies on touch ups? There may be a charge of $50-150 fee at the discretion of the artist - please check with them to confirm.

Can a minor get tattooed at Art & Soul Tattoo with parental consent? No. We will not tattoo anyone under the age of 18. We also will not tattoo anyone without a valid Federal or State issued ID. There are NO exceptions to this policy.

Does Art & Soul Tattoo take walk-ins or is it by appointment only? Please give a call or email to check availability. Walk-ins are a rarity these days. Making an appointment ahead of time is highly recommended.

How do I book a tattoo appointment/consultation? Please email or leave a voicemail for the artist you would like to work with - they will be in touch within a week or so with the process for booking. Email is the best way to get in touch directly - please include details of the specifics of what you would like, location of the tattoo and any other important info or questions you may have. If you prefer an in-person consult please let your artist know. If no one answers the phone during business hours then we are tattooing, please leave a message.

Is it required to leave a retainer/deposit when booking a tattoo appointment? A non-refundable retainer/deposit of $50 - 100 is required to hold/book a tattoo appointment at the discretion of the artist. Gift Certificates can be an eligible deposit depending on the artist. A card over the phone, Venmo or PayPal (depending on the artist) can secure your appointment also.

Can appointments be booked via email or social media, i.e. Facebook/Twitter? The best way to set up a consultation or appointment is emailing an artist to check availability.

What are the prices?  The shop minimum is $100. No prices can be given out over the phone without knowing exactly what you have in mind for artwork/placement. Emailing the tattoo request includes sharing references/details - this is very helpful. Sometimes cost is based on a flat price or the average industry rate between $150-200/hour. Pricing depends on the complexity of the request, time for the artwork preparation and execution of the tattoo.

What happens if canceling an appointment or changing my idea, will the retainer/deposit be lost? No-shows or anyone canceling the day of: please check with your artist – if artwork has been created then a new deposit is at that artist’s discretion. If rescheduling an appointment and given 48 hour advance notice, the deposit/retainer is transferred to the new appointment date up to 3 times or at the discretion of the artist. If you change your mind on the artwork previously agreed upon there may be a new deposit required at the discretion of the artist.

Does Art & Soul Tattoo offer Gift Certificates? Yes, however Gift certificates are available for Anna only at this time. Gift certificates purchased before 11/1/2023 please email Anna for more details. Gift Certificates can be purchased with/for a session with Anna for any amount at the front desk (with an appointment) or over the phone (and mailed or picked up) with a credit card, paypal or venmo. Gift Certificates are valid in Massachusetts for seven years from the date of purchase. If lost – it cannot be replaced unless the serial number is provided.

All sales for gift certificates are final. Balances on Gift Certificates cannot be redeemed for cash.

What form of payment is accepted? Cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Apple Pay, Venmo, Paypal, Discover.
