A Method of Healing:
Always wash hands well before caring for your tattoo; remove bandage in approximately one hour.
Wash tattoo gently with clean hands thoroughly with unscented soap & lukewarm water. Rinse with cold water.
Air dry for 10-15 minutes or gently pat dry with paper towel. No wiping.
Apply a small amount of coconut oil, fragrance free lotion (or Wild Rose or Hustlebutter) to your tattoo until absorbed into the skin.
Avoid over applying - make sure lotion is thoroughly absorbed.
Tattoo may flake/peel like sunburn: DO NOT PICK OR SCRATCH TATTOO. Stay hydrated/rested.
Carefully apply coconut oil, fragrance free lotion (or Wild Rose/Hustlebutter) a few times a day or as needed for remainder of tattoo healing process: 1-4 weeks depending on the type of tattoo and skin.
Avoid tight fitting clothing during healing.
DO NOT soak tattoo in shower, tub, ocean/pool or expose to direct sun/tanning beds for 2-3 weeks.
